Again not a book you read in one go since its mostly for research but it is well written and with beautiful examples of the trends of the time.

Disappointed I was expecting serious insights and a well researched book That expectation was seriously dashed as this is not that type of book. The write up about the royal subjects is cheesy at best There are no sources identified by the author One is left to wonder how the information contained in the book was obtained The word history is in the title but one cannot trust that any of the information is from a legitimate source s The photos are great and credit given to sources.

Another example of getting sucked in by a book from the office.

The writing research of this book is atrocious The only reason to look through this is for the pictures.
